Cornell Team and Leadership Center and ASI Renovations Sponsor Team-building and Leadership Course for Chamber and ithaca Forward [iF] members.

  The Cornell Team and Leadership Center is a nationally recognized leader in the field of experience-based team-building and leadership development. The Center is regularly called upon by some of the leading organizations in America, to enhance leadership and team work skills within their organization.

 ASI Renovations , "The Company You Call When You Buy or Sell Your House", is a local remodeling company servicing Tompkins County. ASI has a focus on getting home-owners the best return on investment (ROI) from their home through energy efficiency upgrades and home sales prep remodeling.

 Together they sponsored this leadership and team-building skills enhancement course for Chamber and ithaca Forward [iF] member at a cost of $20 per person. This is a substantial savings over what organizations will typically pay for this experience.

 This session was held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Cornell Team and Leadership Center outdoor course, which is located at 466 Mount Pleasant Road in Dryden. On the day of the event there was high winds and terrible rain which greatly reduced attendance. However fun and BBQ was still to be had and the participants had a great time on the course. All conducted in a safe environment. The $20 fee also includes dinner, which will be available after the session. Reservations are recommended, as space in limited.
